Unfaithfully Yours

The hero is Rex Harrison in a sensational parody of Sir Thomas Beecham; he disposes of his wife in three ways to the music of Rossini, Wagner, and Tchaikowsky. For years we had played the movie regularly for ourselves and a few devotees; in March we lost our temper and wrote, "What is it, anyway, that scares you off-the stupid title? The presence of Linda Darnell? Have you no courage or, even worse, have you no taste? The world didn't end with W. C. Fields, and this is one of the best comedies ever made in this country-so good that when the box–office returns crawled in, the writer–director became an expatriate." Suddenly, people who had ignored the film for years came to laugh themselves silly. So, we are delighted to announce we are playing Unfaithfully Yours again, not just for ourselves.
