Artistic herself, she paints in his style and learns all she can about him. Suspecting that an unscrupulous art dealer has taken her drawings and sold them as authentic Van Gogh sketches, she goes to Amsterdam to expose the hoax-and then back in time to get the help of the great artist himself.
