The White Sin
The White Sin
"While this is essentially Way Down East without the ice-floes, and an economical independent production to boot (with what would become the familiar Selznick Studios serving as a set, and burning down in miniature), it is surprising how well this rather old-fashioned tear-jerker holds up. The acting is sincere, Seiter's direction tasteful, and the print a really first-class original. A very pleasant little surprise." William K. Everson
