Rumba

In this sequel to Bolero, George Raft dances the rumba in Havana with heiress Carole Lombard; follows her to New York, where he rumbas his way to fame; and is threatened with sudden gangster death if he dares to rumba any more. Hence the film's title. Rumba features excellent dance numbers on glittering Art Deco sets, and Raft "in his usual role - the tough, suspicious, arrogant, but gifted dancer" (N.Y. Times).
