Part II covers the postwar period of Japanese animated films, from the 1950s to the 1970s, with highlights from works by Kon Shimizu, Ryuichi Yokoyama, Yasuji Mori, Koji Fukiya, Taiji Yabushita, Osamu Tezuka, Yoji Kuri, Ryohei Yanagihara, Hiroshi Manabe, Tatsuo Shimamura, Sadao Tsukioka, and Shinichi Suzuki. In addition, the film shows the production processes at studios, pictures from televised manga, and scenes from Japanese anime festivals. (40 mins)
