Persistent and Finagling & The Man Who Can't Stop

Persistent and Finagling
One of two documentaries on the pollution problem, and, at the same time, studies of individuals daring to challenge the traditional system, and forced to overcome certain obstacles to voice their point of view.

Discussions over coffee led to a growing resolve on the part of a group of young Montreal housewives, members of STOP (Society to Overcome Pollution), to try to do something about air pollution by factories in their city. Despite rebuffs of every kind, they persisted in their efforts to start a campaign that would focus public attention on the problem, until they were able to bring newspapers, radio and television to bear on their fight.
