Unknown Perspective
Unknown Perspective questions the cultural and social assumptions implicit in linear perspective - the artistic method of representing spatial reality developed in the Renaissance. The filmic representation of reality as perpetuated in photography is also examined. An actor, who subverts his own authoritative pontification peculiar to the genre of educational film with a hand-held puppet, and a variety of young children represent the interplay between the cultural need to fix the status quo and the natural urge to respond freely.
