BAM/PFA is pleased to host the second annual State of the Arts Conference, presented by the University of California Institute for Research in the Arts (UCIRA). This year's conference focus on the digital arts will provide a broad umbrella under which to explore the digital mediation of performance, space, sound, and other embodied experiences; showcase faculty and graduate student research projects that exemplify interdisciplinary and intermedia arts practice; and consider the impact of digital media on the research functions and modalities of arts practice.
