520 After 12 years, Marian Marzynski returns to his homeland,
Poland. He describes how history has influenced the Polish
people, society and culture. He also examines the problems
the Poles are encountering today. Marzynski had been part
of the purge of Jews and intellectuals that took place in
1968. He returns to places he had grown up, shows where he
was hidden from anti-Semites during the war by being given
up by his parents to Catholics to raise. He also visits
former co-workers in Polish television.
