In a recent conversation Marioni explained that he chose yellow light because it is linked with the intellect in alchemical theory and would, therefore, facilitate the telepathic communication he hopes to achieve with the audience. Musical sound, alternating between jazz and classical, accompanies the action much as it would in his own studio. It is significant to note that Marioni has maintained a life-long association with jazz and percussion which is manifested in both his drum brush drawings as well as in the action/drawing Studio"-- Berkeley Art Museum. 538 U-matic NTSC. 541 0 |3PFA 0750-121-8957.|aD0121|cdeposit|dacquired 1992/09 |5CBPF 590 PFA 0750-121-8957. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last inspected: 1989/ 07/24; Good condition 650 0 Performance art. 655 7 Shorts.|2mim 655 7 Personal/independent works.|2mim 700 1 Marioni, Tom,|d1937-|edirection,|eperformer. 710 2 University of California, Berkeley.|bUniversity Art Museum. 935 GLADN50869472 941 0 PFA 0750-121-8957. acquired 1992/09 946 PFA 0750-121-8957.
