The film discusses the group's ideas and sources of inspiration, particularly American popular culture. The exhibition "This is tomorrow" (London, 1956) was the culmination of I.G. activities. Its influence on the 60s generation of Pop artists, including Peter Blake, Dick Smith, Derek Boshier, and David Hockney, is discussed. 538 VHS NTSC. 590 PFA 0500-01-9011. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last inspected: 2006/ 04/11 Good condition. 650 0 Pop art. 650 0 Art, Modern|y20th century. 655 7 Features.|2mim 655 7 Documentaries and factual works.|2mim 655 7 Educational/cultural works.|2mim 690 British films. 700 1 Cooper, Julian,|edirection. 700 1 Wilson, Rodney,|eproduction. 700 1 Banham, Reyner,|ewriting. 710 2 Arts Council of Great Britain. 946 PFA 0500-01-9011.
