The programming is interrupted by the following message: "This is a test of the Emergency Broadcast System. For the next 60 seconds this station will be conducting a test. A tone beep will sound. This is only a test." A distant rumble is heard, and the man's residence begins to shake. Suddenly, the man is blown against the wall as a nuclear explosion occurs outside.
