The schedule of films screening at BAMPFA as part of the 59^th San Francisco International Film Festival has just been posted. We are honored to be the exclusive East Bay venue for this renowned festival, giving audiences on this side of the pond a chance to see some of the most exciting new films from around the world: Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, France, Greece, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and more.

BAMPFA audiences will be especially interested in seeing No Home Movie, Chantal Akerman’s final film; And when I die I won’t stay dead, a documentary tribute to beat poet Bob Kaufman; Summer of Frozen Fountains, a wistful romantic drama set in Tblisi; and the latest from Sergei Loznitsa (Maidan), The Event.
