300 1 reel of 1 :|bsi., col. ;|cSuper-8|3print.
500 Film has no standard titles, but a prominent shot early in
film is a close-up of the address number "558" on a door
to the building in which the film takes place. The number
"558" is also written as a title on the film reel. The
title refers to the address of the Haight-Ashbury Free
Medical Clinic, at 558 Clayton Street in San Francisco.
500 Film is [apparently] an impressionistic home movie of the
early days of the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic.
Shots include details of a psychedelic wall-mural, shots
of hippies smoking, and hanging out. Although no medical
equipment is shown, address is known to be that of the
clinic, and an under-exposed shot depicts what appears to
be the clinic's sign.
