500 Cornell gave this film to Larry Jordan to complete. Jordan
left Cornell's original editing sequence intact,
assembling the footage according to Cornell's written
instructions. The construction took place at Anthology
Film Archives in 1969 or 1970. Jordan also completed
Cotillion and Midnight hour.

520 Re-edited found footage of home movies of children's
parties and children's educational films. The film begins
with the title "The end" printed upside down. A window
opens, showing star constellations in the night sky. This
footage is from a children's film for learning star
constellations. There are occasional intertitles in
English. From this film, Cornell moves to footage from
children's parties. Children bob for apples and watch
acrobats and magic acts. Some of these sections are re-
printed in slow motion or freeze-framed. At times,
sprocket holes are visible. The children then imitate
adults, forming a chorus line and dancing. At the end, a
child with long hair seated on a magical white horse
appears against a starry background, perhaps a symbol for
the magic of childhood. Some of the party footage in this
film was used to make Cornell's film Cotillion.
