Further expansion and contrast of the motion sequence is achieved by the use of an optical printer. The beauty and fluidity of the changing pattern, its expansion and contraction, is highlighted by an unusual musical score. Appropriate as Cria is for stimulating creativity in the fine arts, it is equally successful when used for motivational purposes in the study of mathematics. Michael Whitney suggests a two- print screening. The result is a kind of "kinetic walpaper, " which should prove an exciting visual experiment."-- Pyramid Films distribution catalog 71/72, p. 51. 520 Computer-animated color spirals mutate while an electric guitar plays a drone. 590 PFA 1604-01-776. |aCOPY-SPECIFC DESCRIPTION: 1 reel of 1 (143 ft.)
