520 Based on the book, Ecotopia, written by Ernest Callenbach,
this work is a pilot for an unproduced television series
with the premise that in the near future northwestern U.S.
becomes a dedicated space for radical living experiments
based on ecological principles. The second half of the
program is an example of ecotopian television, an abstract
essay on the dangers of progress, created by Stephen Beck.
