A ballerina, Glenda Medeiros, performs dance steps and pirouettes at the shore line. Other female dancers swim in a stylised form or dance on the beach. A rock serves as a barre, the white beach as a dancefloor. This idyllic situation was staged by Vin Grabill as music for the eye which is in perfect harmony with the modern classical music of Mark Pierson. Electronically treated guitar music forms the technological counterpart to coloring and other editing effects. This tape is the result of a multimedia production for the 1982 Edinburgh Music Festival. 538 U-matic NTSC. 541 0 PFA 0750-01-10918.
