These fabrics can be combined with natural fabrics such as as wool and cotton to produce durable, long-lasting, and low-maintenance fabrics. The film explains the importance of yarns in making fabrics; discusses the constructions commonly used in fabric making such as plain (taffeta, poplin), twill (flannel, garbadine), and satin (crepe) weaves, and circular and flat knitting; and depicts methods of printing, dyeing, and other finishing operations. 590 PFA 1608-04-494. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last checked: June 15, 2002, difficulty holding frame line periodically, very scratched, color faded, vinegar odor. 610 20 E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. 650 0 Textile fabrics. 650 0 Synthetic fabrics. 655 7 Shorts.|2mim 655 7 Educational/cultural works.|2mim 655 7 Public relations works.|2mim 700 1 Tunick, Irve. 700 1 Graham, Bob,|d1949- 700 1 Chapman, Ardenia. 710 2 Pennsylvania Film Productions. 710 2 Drexel Institute of Technology. 710 2 E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. 935 GLADN184885103 954 20120801|bMarcive Authority Bib 956 20140224|bPFA migration/merge load 957 OCLC xref loaded 20140928 994 01|bCUY
