was mayor of San Francisco from 1912 to 1931and governor
of California from 1931-1934. An unofficial name of the
San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is the James "Sunny Jim"

Howard Street. [Blindcraft was the trademark of the San
Francisco Association for the Blind. The unique society
was started by a woman in 1902, directed by women, managed
by a woman. The workers of Blindcraft Building made
baskets, brooms, reed and rattan furniture and rugs.]
