Kipper Kids are painted in black makeup and wear nose and chin masks, with shower caps and jock straps. Pieces are humorous, playful and bizarre. One performance has one Kipper playing a guitar while both sing in an almost unintelligible "cockney" language. Another piece has Kippers making themselves into "cakes", with whipcream on their shower caps. Another piece shows Kippers exploding a mustard sandwich, much to the delight of the audience. Interview is conducted while Kippers are showering and removing stage makeup from one another, while explaining how the Kipper Kids characters were created. Very unusual and funny performance art. 538 U-Matic NTSC. 590 PFA 0750-121-8947. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last inspected: April 11, 2006 Videocassette damaged, image and sound deteriorated almost to point of being unplayable. 650 0 Performance art. 655 7 Personal/independent works.|2mim 710 2 Kipper Kids (Group of artists) 710 2 University Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. 946 PFA 0750-121-8947.
