The legend of Sleepy Hollow (1922). See condition note.
590 PFA 1616-108-8527. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last inspected: 16
Jan 1997; splices; shrunk; warped; Print is mostly tinted,
with some sections yellow, some brown, some b&w, etc.;
many cement splices; cement splices separate sections with
different tints, but also there are numerous other splices
perhaps made as repairs, or edits of print; comparison
with PFA Morrison b&w print titled Headless Horseman shows
they are the same film, but this tinted version has some
shots and titles shortened, or missing altogether; running
time comparisons have not been made, but tinted version
seems to be at least close in length to b&w print; tinted
version has strong odor of what Arthur believes may be
naphtha, or mothball-like substance included in cans of
Kodascope prints to prevent deterioration; print shrunk;
warped; torn sprockets; some sprockets are completely
ripped out, along with portions of their adjacent frames;
Kodak edge code indicates 16mm stock was made in 1925;
diacetate print
