520 An aspiring actor comes to Hollywood, hoping to become a
star. Instead, he finds only anonymity as an extra when a
studio mogul gives him the number 9413. Another actor who
arrived at the same time becomes a star, and all Hollywood
lionizes him. Meanwhile, the extra finds employment harder
to find, and eventually dies of privation. While the other
performers laugh, the extra's spirit ascends to heaven
where the number is erased from his forehead and he
becomes an angel.
