520 Los inundados follows the fortunes of a family flooded out
of their home who take refuge in what they believe to be
an abandoned railroad boxcar. Tire die examines life in
the Argentinian village of Santa Fe. Footage of the
villagers' daily existence shows the effects of poverty on
people's lives and explores the way the nearby train
affects the village. The film culminates in a sequence
where the children of Santa Fe run alongside the train as
it passes by, begging for money from the passengers.
