520 "In 1975 Ant Farm sent a 1959 Cadillac through a wall of
flaming TV sets in Media Burn, a deconstruction/demolition
of the media spectacle par excellence. Using the car once
again as a cultural icon, transformed into a type of earth
-bound spaceship, Media Burn critiqued American ideals of
heroics and technological superiority, and offered an
affront to the television media who were invited to cover
the event"--Media Art Net.
