520 Animation, live footage and reenactments are used in this
training film about munitions. Subjects covered include
the history of munitions use from 1866 to 1939. A request
for munitions is followed through the chain of command
from the battle front to the factory and back. The
manufacture of munitions and certain tactical manuevers
such as moving convoys across waterways without the use of
bridges and the number of soldiers needed to handle a
shipment of munitions, are demonstrated.
