  • Spoken introduction: "This video scrapbook is excerpted from over six hours of videotape shot March 16 through March 19, 1972, on the occasion of the opening of the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston, Texas. The raw tape has been sealed away in a 12 year time capsule, a converted ice box full of images and artifacts indicative of a time and place. This work was commissioned by the Contemprary Arts Museum and produced by Ant Farm Video, a San Francisco group of video documentation artists."

This video was commissioned by the museum as part of a time capsule that Ant Farm created that included the raw footage documenting the opening, various cultural artifacts (including Carnation brand instant breakfast and other packaged food items), as well as the edited video.
