Accompanied by video effects, the narrator/videomaker recounts the countless internal conversations that marked her coming to terms with disability. Unlike her mother who attributes's Cecilia's illness to what she considers sexual deviancy and an abandonment of relgious faith, the videomaker takes a more Marxian approach, blaming poor diet and inadequate medical care as well as bad karma for her condition.
