[et al.] ; chakkok, Kim Tong- bŏm, Yi Chi-ŭn. 520 In the spring of 1992, Kim Dong-won, the film's director, met two long-term political prisoners who were charged with being communist spies from North Korea. During their 30 years in jail, the prisoners never gave up their allegiance to communism and North Korea. When they were finally released from prison, they began living in the Kim's neighborhood, and he became quite close with one of the prisoners, Cho Chang-son. Kim's film documents the former prisoners' return to mainstream Korean society and their campaign for repatriation. 538 DVD; region 3; aspect ratio 1.85:1; Dolby digital; dts. 546 In Korean with optional subtitles in Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Russian. 590 PFA 0230-01-12295. |aCONDITION NOTE: Last checked: 2008/06 /24 Excellent condition. 650 0 Political prisoners|xRehabilitation|zKorea (South) 650 0 Return migration|zKorea (North) 655 7 Documentaries and factual works|2mim 655 7 Features.|2mim 690 0 Korean (South) films. 700 1 Kim, Tong-wŏn,|d1955- 710 2 Pʻurŭn Yŏngsang. 710 2 Indie Story (Firm) 710 2 Yŏnghwa Chinhŭng Wiwŏnhoe (Korea) 830 0 Varied colors of Korean cinema ;|v04. 935 GLADN51157716 941 0 PFA 0230-01-12295.
