In the first, a video camera tapes off-air a television set broadcasting a commercial for National Home Plan hosted by Art Linkletter. Then a boxing match a light heavy-weight boxing match between Terry Lee and Ray White comes on (these two boxers fought three matches February 20, 1971, December 4, 1971 and February 26, 1972, so the cassette label date may be in error). A voice imitating a dog howling is heard off camera. (8 min.) In the second piece the studio is arranged with a window frame set up next to a table with a goldfish bowl on it. A naked electric light bulb hangs from the ceiling. A man sits behind the window frame reading the San Francisco Examiner. He is wearing a black hood. A radio plays music and news in the background. He puts his hand in the goldfish bowl and then places a monkey figurine in the bowl. He opens the window, sticks his hand through and artificial snow falls covering his hand. He closes the window, gets up and looks in a mirror hanging on the wall. He pretends to comb his hair over the hood and then pages through a book hanging from the ceiling. Next he pastes a picture on his chest while the camera focuses on a biography of Marcel Duchamp tacked to the wall. He again combs over the hood and 520 places a mask over the hood. He sits behind a table with a toaster and books and puts pieces of wood in the toaster. He again places his hand in the fishbowl while shining a flashlight on the bowl. He scraps the piece of wood with a knife. He turns the pages of the book hangng from the ceiling while shining the flashlight on the pages. He again goes to the mirror and shines the flashlight on his mask. He picks up a large inflatable rabbit and holds it to the mirror. He then goes into the bathroom with the rabbit--sounds of toilet flushing. There is a knock on the outside door and a woman wearing a mask enters. The two converse about various topics. (14 min.).
