briefly describes the twentieth century history and
economic background of Poland and then traces the rise of
Nazism and the German overthrow of Poland in 1939. Poland
fights on begins with the fall of Poland in 1939 and
traces the contribution of Polish troops in exile to the
campaigns in Britain, Africa and Italy. Roman Cieslewicz
documents the life and work of the Polish poster artist
working in Paris.
