Notes
  • Handwritten note on film can from Jim Melchert: "For about a minute and twenty seconds at the beginning of the film what you have is the sound of the ocean and the light through black leader. I mention this so you know it's supposed to be that way. If there's a choice of projectors, show the film on one which has the sound coming from speakers near the screen instead of from one in the projector. With good speakers the sound of the ocean is real enough to make you feel chilly. The quality of the sound system makes a big difference with this film."
