at Berkeley, California, from noon of May 21 to midnight
of May 22, 1965. The program participants, who do not all
appear in the film, included--Aaron Wildavsky, Robert
Scheer, the Committee, I.F. Stone, Willie Brown, Barbara
Dane, Phil Ochs, George Clark, Edward Keating, Levi Laub,
Paul Jacobs, Jim Petras, Jack Grant, Si Casady, Stanley
Sheinbaum, Senator Ernest Gruening, Isaac Reutscher,
Michael Klein, Mario Savio, Jack Barnes, Isadore
Zifferstein, Alan Watts, William Stanton, Cillin Edwards,

520 This film documents the two day anti-Vietnam War rally
held in Sproul Plaza at the University of California.
There are many scenes of students gathering, activities,
carrying signs, collecting money, etc. Identified speakers
include Robert Scheer, Dr. Benjamin Spock, Mario Savio,
Norman Thomas, Dick Gregory, Norman Mailer. There are many
unidentified speakers. The Committee performs a comedy
skit and Phil Ochs sings Love me, I'm a liberal. The film
concludes with hanging Lyndon Johnson in effigy and
burning draft cards.
