During the conference, regardless of the tremendous price China paid in winning the victory of the War, Great Britain, the United States and France denied the rights and interests China is entitled to so as to ensure their interest in Asia. In order to reverse such an unjust result, Gu Weijun argued strongly on sound grounds.
