Subway workers rap with riders about the terrible working conditions. The film analyzes the Transit Authority's disastrous bonding schemes. A prophetic film, and a good expose of the "legal" corruption which sees the taxpayer's pocketbook as a bottomless guarantee of bondholders' (that is, the big banks') profit--the fiscal policy which threatens city governments across the country with imminent bankruptcy. 650 0 Subways|zNew York (State) 650 0 Transportation|xFares|zNew York (State) 655 7 Shorts.|2mim 655 7 Documentaries and factual works|2mim 710 2 California Newsreel (Firm) 710 2 Newsreel (Firm) 935 GLADN50974603 954 20120801|bMarcive Authority Bib 956 20140224|bPFA migration/merge load 957 OCLC xref loaded 20140928 994 01|bCUY
