The 1982 Asian American International Film Festival is sponsored by the National Asian American Telecommunications Association and the Asian American Film Institute. This year marks the first year that the festival, which has run for five years in New York, has extended to other American cities. The Bay Area screenings have been coordinated by James Yee, Eliza Chan, Joey Arcellana and Louise Lo.
