Continuing through March, Recent Revelations shows off experimental videoworks that bode new ingenious and exhilirating aesthetic or discursive fancies. Each program gathers together constellations of like works, illuminating through a single theme a point of entry to their complex artistic ambitions. Whether they be herky-jerky narratives, formal interrogations, or politically inclined philippics, these videoworks, at base, depend on the ever-mercurial possibilities of the medium. We call them experimental works, but in fact they aren't. The findings are in-they are verifiable successes.
