Extravagantly excessive, Gothic takes us inside the country estate where in 1816 Lord Byron (Gabriel Byrne), Mary Shelley (Natasha Richardson), and Percy Bysshe Shelley (Julian Sands) agonizingly birth the monster to be called Frankenstein.
