Bodies in Time: A Dialogue on Performance and Video Art

Internationally renowned curators Adrienne Edwards and Catherine Wood explore the relationship between performance and video art, considering issues of embodiment, time, documentation, action, and more.

 Edwards is a curator, scholar, and writer with a focus on artists of the African diaspora and the global South. She is the Engell Speyer Family Curator and Curator of Performance at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Previously, she served as curator of Performa and curator-at-large for the Walker Art Center.

 Wood is senior curator, international art (performance), at Tate Modern. She is on the board for the nonprofit Studio Voltaire in London and has served on the juries for the Schering Stiftung Art Award, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation Future Generation Art Prize, and the Jerwood/FVU Awards.
