From Collective Isolation: Raina León
While the COVID-19 pandemic has put BAMPFA’s long-running poetry reading series on hold, we’re presenting online readings from some of our favorite poets. We've invited them to read recent work that speaks to our current moment of isolation.
Raina León reads “For Aurélia on the 16th day of self-isolation, March 28, 2020.”
Raina J. León is an associate professor of education at Saint Mary’s College of California. Her first collection of poetry, Canticle of Idols, was a finalist for the Cave Canem First Book Poetry Prize and the Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize. She is a founding editor of the Acentos Review.
