Life and Dance: Trajal Harrell on The Ghost of Montpellier

Dancer/choreographer Trajal Harrell discusses his latest work, The Ghost of Montpellier, with Kate Mattingly and Megan Hoetger. Speaking about his choreography and performance, Harrell says, “I am most interested in how the imagination can rethink the ‘omissions’ of history. . .  performance can be a way in which we collectively reimagine the impossibilities of history and thus make room for new possibilities in the world we make today.”
