OFFSITE Curator's Circle: Kramlich Residence and Collection Tour & Lunch

Open to Curator’s Circle members at the $10,000 level and above

Richard and Pamela Kramlich are recognized internationally for their pioneering collection of film, video, and media art. Starting to collect in the mid-1980s, the Kramlichs commissioned Herzog & de Meuron in 1997 to design a home in Napa Valley for themselves and their art collection. The Kramlich Residence, which was completed in 2016, features large, custom-designed spaces for a selection of works by contemporary artists such as Marina Abramovic, Matthew Barney, Dara Birnbaum, Pierre Huyghe, William Kentridge, Richard Mosse, Bruce Nauman, and Shirin Neshat.

The Kramlichs are offering BAMPFA's Curator's Circle a rare guided tour of the Kramlich Residence and Collection, led by Director of the Kramlich Collection Aebhric Coleman. This will be followed by a catered lunch in the Terrace Gallery, served with wine. A private shuttle will transport our group between BAMPFA and Napa Valley.

Tours and educational visits to the Kramlich Residence and Collection are by invitation only. Space is limited, and Curator's Circle reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis.

Contact Jennifer Sime at 510-643-9632 or jlsime@berkeley.edu to reserve your spot.
