A rare opportunity to work with ukiyo-e master printer Motoharu Asaka. Asaka specializes in the traditional ukiyo-e techniques from Edo period Japan and he is entrusted with the reprinting of Japan’s National Treasures. In this intensive workshop, Asaka will demonstrate both carving and printing techniques in making Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa and participants will also try printing.
