Instagram Contest: Way Bay Now

Installation view of On the Hour / JJ PEET: THE VACANT AMERICAN, 2017

BAMPFA's exhibition Way Bay explores creative currents in the Bay Area over the past two hundred years, and we want to see what you're “currently” working on. Share your #WayBayNow art, film, photography, poetry, or performance—from, about, or inspired by the Bay Area—for a chance to be featured on our social scene—and big screen!

How to Submit: Tag @bampfa with #WayBayNow on Instagram, or email bampfapress@berkeley.edu with WayBayNow in the subject line, between May 4-31. In the caption, include your name, artwork title, and any other information about the piece that you’d like included in the post. A selection of submitted works will be projected on the BAMPFA outdoor screen from June 6-13.

The Fine Print: Submissions must be images of the artist's original artwork. The artist grants BAMPFA the right to crop the work if needed and use the artist’s name in association with the submitted work. Artists retain copyright to their submitted work. BAMPFA reserves the right to select from the submitted works.
