Presented by filmmaker Camilo De Sousa and Pedro Pimenta, Assistant Director of Mozambique's National Institute of Cinema (INACINE), an institute active in the production of new films as well as in the distribution of films to rural areas of Mozambique. Since producing These Are the Weapons, the first feature film made in Mozambique since the independence, INACINE has produced a new feature by Ruy Guera, one of the founders of Brazil's Cinema Novo, Mueda--Memory and Massacre, which was featured at several recent film festivals.
