Our Tuesday offerings of avant-garde and experimental cinema include in-person presentations by Morgan Fisher, whose acclaimed new film ( ) was featured at the Rotterdam and New York Film Festivals, and Julie Murray, who creates gorgeous, edgy or sensual, deftly edited found-footage films, as well as our annual program of student films from Bay Area schools. Tuesday programs during the fall semester are presented in conjunction with the UC Berkeley course Avant-Garde Film taught by Miryam Sas, associate professor in comparative literature and film studies.
