Curator's Circle: Collector Chat | Home & Collection Tour with Deborah & Andy Rappaport

Open to Curator’s Circle members at the $5,000 level and above

Please join BAMPFA’s Curator's Circle and 2019 Gala Host Committee members for an intimate gathering at the San Francisco home of Andy and Deborah Rappaport. The evening will include wine and light hors d’oeuvres, as well as a lively conversation among the Rappaports and Apsara DiQuinzio, BAMPFA's curator of modern and contemporary art and Phyllis C. Wattis MATRIX Curator, in which they will discuss the history and scope of their remarkable art collection.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about this visionary couple, who will be honored at BAMPFA’s 2019 Gala and Auction on April 16 for their innovative and extraordinary support of the Bay Area arts ecosystem. In 2015, Deborah and Andy founded Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco’s historic Dogpatch district to offer economically sustainable spaces for art galleries, artists, and related nonprofits, and realize a groundbreaking ideal: “a dynamic, self-sustaining enterprise that shares its economic success with arts businesses and professionals and aims to encourage heightened support for the arts from newcomer and established patrons alike.”

Already, Minnesota Street Project has done much to make San Francisco's contemporary art community more sustainable, even as it helps to develop the city’s reputation as an internationally recognized arts destination. Join us to toast the Rappaports and their contributions to the Bay Area arts community we all care so much about!

Space is extremely limited, and reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis.
