Dance on Camera, the oldest annual dance film and video festival in the world, was founded in 1971 to promote fruitful collaborations between dancers and filmmakers. It is a program of Dance Films Association (DFA), a member organization founded in 1956 by the late Susan Braun. Most of the selections in our program are drawn from Dance Film Association's 28th annual Dance on Camera Festival presented at the Walter Reade Theater in New York in January, 2000, cosponsored by DFA and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Highlights from previous festivals are also included. We wish to thank Deirdre Towers and Joanna Ney, Dance on Camera 2000 Festival Co-directors. Prints and tapes are provided by the Dance Film Association, National Film Board of Canada, and Filmoteca Española.SUNDAY JUNE 18, 2000
