Kidsnatched from her orphanage by the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), who spends his life blowing happy dreams to children, Sophie concocts a plan with him to save the world from the loathsome man-gobbling cannybull giants. Enjoy reading about this most lovable of Dahl’s character creations, who speaks a jumbled patois of made-up words whose meanings are instantly understood by children, as is his bighearted nature.
