Jennifer Kindell is a San Francisco artist whose current collection of hand-printed screen prints is inspired by the abundance and diversity of California produce. You can find her teaching at the de Young Museum or engaging with new and familiar faces at the Mission Community Market.

Inspired by Romare Bearden’s Study for Berkeley—The City and Its People and other figurative works in Way Bay, play with collage and create a portrait of people dear to you in an imagined space that you revere.

About Gallery + Studio
On the second Saturday of each month, Gallery + Studio connects art viewing with art making in ways that engage both young people and their grown-ups. Each two-part workshop integrates an interactive gallery tour with a related art project, and lasts about an hour and a half. Sign up on site beginning fifteen minutes before the session you wish to attend. Space is limited to twelve kids per session; please arrive promptly to sign up.
